I think the new color sceme and back ground make it difficult to read pages.

The link is YourPage, however it displays as MyPage. MyPage is correct, though.
I find it difficult to read with this background too. But instead of changing the background (which is no problem at all), we could change the transparency of the page to make it more bright and easier to read. But I don't see any of you here have the adminstrator right for changing that.
Aside from being really hard to read with this transparency, the current background is a fan art that somebody spent a lot of time on. I'm not sure if the person who changed it got permission from the artist beforehand, or if they are the artist, but I'm concerned about credit for the image.
I didn't mean to imply I had admin rights, but I can see how some one might get that impression.
I also wasn't referring to the art specific, just the transparency.
However, after really looking at it, if I could, I would undo the new the new theme without hesitation.
It is agitating to be starred at and it is unsettling to have to look at a wall of sad, frightened and angry faces.
One need not be a PhD in marketing or human behavior to know there is a reason the faces on cereal boxes, books, toy wrapping, store entrances, billboards, lunch boxes, photo albums, kiosks, ext. are overwhelmingly happy and looking at something within the picture.
Ever notice how many service counters are highly polished? There are two reasons. First, because people don't like to see themselves when they're angry, a person will calm down faster if they can see their own angry face. And second, to pit you against yourself as well as the person at the counter, and every one behind you.
Now, to be fair, perhaps the intention was to reduce the number of contributors here. If that's the case...,
Bravo sir!
Now when you say that, I kinda worried as well. Now who the heck came up with the idea?
