Milo often quotes various unique proverbs and sayings that tend to be botched variations of many well-known ones, often crediting his dad. These phrases, preceded by "Like my dad always says..." or "You know what they say...", tend to be stated in situations appropriate to the saying in a literal sense, yet very ludicrous when taken out of context. Milo cites these often enough to be a running gag in Milo Murphy's Law. Here is a list of these bizarre statements.
